Grilled Chicken & Asparagus Pesto Pasta

Ingredients
1 Chicken Breast Diced (1 inch)
1/2 Teaspoon Italian Seasoning
250g Asparagus Woody Ends Removed
1 Tablespoon Olive Oil
1/4 Teaspoon Sea Salt
Pinch Ground Black Pepper
125g Dried Fusilli Pasta
3 Tablespoons Pesto
1 Tablespoon Lemon Juice
2 Tablespoons Parmesan Cheese Finely Grated
1 Tablespoons Pine Nuts Toasted
2 Tablespoons Fresh Basil Finely Sliced
Directions
Preheat the grill to medium high heat. Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and put into a large mixing bowl.
Meanwhile add chicken to a medium bowl with olive oil, Italian seasoning, salt and pepper, stir to combine. Place coated chicken on skewers.
Grill the chicken for approximately 6-8 minutes then turn and grill for further 6-8 minutes or until cooked through. Remove from grill.
Meanwhile place asparagus spears onto the grill grates horizontally. Grill for 2 minutes, turn and grill for a further 1-2 minutes. Remove from grill and cut into approximately 2 inch pieces.
Add the cooked chicken and asparagus to the bowl with the pasta. Add in the pesto, lemon juice and parmesan. Toss everything together until coated and season with salt and pepper to taste.
Serve hot or cold and garnish with toasted pine nuts and fresh basil.
